Under such cases, the best solution is to install a new frame. If such problems are reported with new frames, it is better you send the frame to the manufacturer to rectify the issue.

Sometimes, door frames are repaired for aesthetic purposes. In other words it means enhancing their appearance and not the function. If you want to bring in a dramatic difference to the way your door frame looks, then you may replace the older door frame trim with a new one of different style. Though replacing the trim is not that difficult to accomplish, one concern is the chance of scraping off the surrounding paint.
